about
Wah Wah 45s are proud to present a new national anthem for broken Britain, just in time for the festive season and with all proceeds going to Shelter - one of this country’s most vital charities, who have been fiercely defending everyone’s basic human right to a safe home for nearly 60 years.
Trust Fund arrives out of the blue, something like Mr. Blobby on acid, raging against the machine to claim the coveted Christmas number one slot. It’s a rallying cry to take the one percent to task, delivered by Britain’s answer to Becker and Fagen with backing vocals by La Di Da, Michael McDonald’s long lost cousin from Cleethorpes. It’s a song for fans of our blue-eyed soul boys Talc, but definitely not for fans of the blue-eyed Bullingdon Club boys and their mates, and comes complete with incendiary artwork from beloved Welsh artist and illustrator Pete Fowler (Super Furry Animals / Monsterism).
The Royal Organ Duo originally formed back in 2001, and despite never having actually performed for the British aristocracy, they still use their noble moniker to regularly climb to the top of festival line ups and generally pester those in the echelons of high society.
We hope you enjoy their debut opus on Wah Wah 45s and can help support this most worthy of causes.
